Technical Assistance

This new initiative seeks to provide follow up assistance to graduates of FastTrac and NxLevel (including Tilling the Soil) to help them fine-tune their business plan or take their business to a new level of growth.

An interdisciplinary team is uniquely matched to the needs identified by selected businesses. The team makes an on-site visit with the business owner(s) to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) and generate a set of written recommendations for strengthening and improving the business. Areas that a business owner wants help in may include finances, human resource management, marketing, advertising, etc.

One round of Technical Assistance Follow-up was successfully completed in 2005. Currently, funds are being sought to offer another round of this program. If you are a graduate of FastTrac or NxLevel Tilling and wish to be considered for this program, please contact Heart of Maine RC&D.
